Welcome

Welcome Image

Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded".
Without hesitation, based on those words, I think you’ll agree that Mike Angelo was truly a success. Each of you who knew Mike, knows, that his life revolved around helping others. You weren’t just friends, you were indeed his family. He had a servants heart and didn’t just help you through your pain…he shared it with you.
All of us at Memorial Gardens have heavy hearts knowing that Mike is gone from us. However, we rejoice in the absolute certainty that Mike was a child of God and that he didn‘t lose a battle with cancer…he won it. He told me hours before his death, that He was so ready to go home and see Jesus. Now and for all of eternity, He’s got all the time in the world to enjoy the splendor of Heaven. There’s no death up there, so that means there’s no work for a funeral director to do except to give honor and glory to God and enjoy that wonderful place that was created especially for him.
Mike Angelo was truly the best friend that our community has ever had. He cherished the friendships that he had with each of you and was so proud to be your funeral director as well as your friend. It won’t be the same without having him with us, but Mike, just as Emerson wrote, allowed so many of you, when your hearts were broken, to “breath a little easier“, because God put him in your lives.
We have been overwhelmed by your support and we humbly say “thank you” all for your Prayers, your concern, and your kindness. It means the world to us…..and it’s just the way Mike would have done it himself.

We love you all,
Michael Walton, and the rest of YOUR Memorial Gardens Family….Leah Reynolds, Mike Vaughan and Ed Carey
