Obituary

A. Bennie Lisenbey of Grapevine, Arkansas was born January 12, 1939 near Sheridan, Arkansas, the son of the late Robert Alton and Thelma Fite Lisenbey. He served in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Bennie was an honorary member of Grapevine Hunting Club and loved the outdoors.

Mr. Lisenbey died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at V.A. Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 70.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Georgia Rudkins Lisenbey of Grapevine; Son, Ben Lisenbey of Anchorage, Alaska; Daughters, Pernecia and husband Mark Koller of Spring Green, Wisconsin, Georgetta and husband Jason Shiflett of Kennewick, Washington, Tina and husband Bobby Bowling of Wenatchee, Washington and LaDeana and husband Steve Morehead of Ritzville, Washington; Brother, Fred Lisenbey of Sheridan; Sisters, Elizabeth Benning of Leola and Madie Herrington of Star City; 12 Grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, and Amanda Koller, Kristen, Ryan, and Tyce Windle, Eric Lisenbey, Nathan Coggins, Cameron and Jason Bowling and Aaron and Leah Morehead; a good friend, Tony Windle of Brewster, Washington.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Al Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will also be Wednesday, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Shelby Taylor, Don Hawkins, Jimmy Burrow, Mark Koller, Jason Shiflett and Steve Morehead.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
