Adeline Edwards Poe of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 6, 1914 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Earl and Virginia Crutchfield Edwards. She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church; a former member of the Corinth Home Demonstration Club; was an avid quilter, having made over 500 quilts; worked as a housekeeper for the Posey Hotel and had retired from West Bend.

Mrs. Poe died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at age 92.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wyatt A. "Bye" Poe who died on April 24, 1994.

Sister, Amanda Fitzgerald of Sheridan;

19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 9, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Gayle Umholtz and Bro. Derrell Harris officiating. Burial in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
