Obituary
Albert Ross Congleton,75, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home.
He was born April 12, 1941 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of the late Albert Martin and Viney "Connie" Slay Congleton.
Ross served in Germany in the US Air Force and retired from International Paper where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Luise Fuchs Congleton and a brother, Gerald Lee Congleton.
He is survived by his wife of almost 22 years, Patricia "Patti" Hakes Congleton of Sheridan; son, Albert Lee and wife Sherri Congleton of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Allison Congleton of West Little Rock and sister Eloise and husband Mike Thompson of North Little Rock and a host of friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at 7410 West 13th Avenue in Pine Bluff. His remains will be entombed at Sherwood, Arkansas at a later date.
