Alice Faye Hamilton Darnell of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 31, 1940 in Sheridan, Arkansas the daughter of the late Loss Edgar and Oddie Swilling Hamilton. She was a member of Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Darnell died Monday, December 19, 2011 at Stoneybrook Nursing Home in Benton at the age of 71. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Marshall Ockerman.

4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Williams and Barbara Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
