Chester Allen "Hollywood" Kendall, Jr. of Prattsville, Arkansas was born April 9, 1946 in San Diego, California, the son of the late Chester Allen Kendall, Sr. and Ruby Daisy Corbin Kendall. He was an active member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was always available to help in any way. He was a graduate of Prattsville High School and had served in the Arkansas National Guard for over 21 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his shop.

"Hollywood" died at his home, surrounded by his family, on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 74.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: wife of 50 years, Lorraine Rhodes Kendall; son, Jeffery(Logan) Kendall; daughter, Lynn (Brandon) Goza all of Prattsville; sister Shirley Kendall of New Mexico; 5 grandchildren, Hannah Towns, Ashton Kendall, Autumn Felton, Gracie Kendall, and Ava Kendall; 3 great grandchildren, Raymond Seeley, AJ Towns, Everleigh Towns; special grandchildren, Kiersten, Hayden, Jacob and Logan Cullins, Devin Walters, Keaton Hodges, Scarlett Brawley and Dakotah Brawley, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Philadelphia Cemetery with Bro. Kenneth Click officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Brian Rhodes, Steven Powell, Matt Powell, Robert Rhodes, Jamie Rhodes, Ronnie Rhodes, Tyler Towns and Wade Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Rhodes and Carroll Tubbs.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
