Allie Cotton Dortch of Sheridan, Arkansas was born in Grapevine, Arkansas on September 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Calvin Charles and Lether Anne Taylor Cotton. She died on October 2, 2009 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas at the age of 88 years.

She was a retired Church Custodian, housekeeper, member of First United Methodist Church and the widow of Minor Dortch. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Ed; Welzie; Homer and Gurtie; and sisters: Gennie, Elizabeth, Geneva and Murtis

Survivors: Son: Harvey Dortch of Sheridan;

3 daughters: Betty Sue Barnes of Benton;
Anna Jane Reddin of Fordyce;
and Wanda Deason of El Dorado;

Brother: Sam Cotton of Sheridan;

7 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Rev. John Fleming, Rev. Don Nolley and Rev. Mike McEuen officiating.

Burial will be in Moore's Chapel Cemetery near Sheridan.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
