Alma Beatrice Wallace Talbert of Carthage, Arkansas was born May 23, 1918 in Carthage, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry Pleasant and Ella J. Riggan Wallace. She was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Carthage. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed fishing, cooking and having family and friends eat at her table.

Mrs. Talbert died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 94.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Walter Talbert, and her siblings, Willie Wallace, Jim Wallace, Edna Pannell, Mary Ola Wallace, Ernest Wallace, Clem Wallace, Hallie Wallace, Raymond Wallace and Jessie Wallace.

Survivors: Sons, Curtis Wayne and wife Janice Talbert of Sheridan; Gary and wife Ann Talbert of Traskwood, Dale and wife Beverly Talbert of Sheridan; grandchildren, Lori Strickland, Kevin Talbert, Kenny Talbert, and Christy Honeycutt, great grandchildren, Garrett Honeycutt, Hadley Honeycutt, Brittni Talbert, Aubrey Talbert, Emily Talbert, Haley Talbert and Lane Talbert, great great grandchild, Dane and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton Springs Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are John Strickland, Kevin Talbert, Kenny Talbert, Casey Honeycutt, David Lassiter, Ray Wallace, Curtis Rushing and Jeff Tolleson.
