Almeda Lawrence Corder of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 2, 1944 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Glaucus and Elah Robinson Lawrence.  She was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family, shopping, and reading her Bible.

Mrs. Corder died Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, at the age of 77.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Corder; brothers, Chester Lawrence, Billy Lawrence; sisters, Lorene Andrews , Elahmae Gates, Maxine Carter, Elmaleen Moltz

Survivors include her son, Joseph Melvin Ward, Jr. (Natalie) of Walker, Louisiana; daughters, Monica White (Jerry) of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Marilyn Ward of Sheridan, Michelle Cannon (Steve) of Sheridan, Melissa Ebbs of Pine Bluff; step-daughter, Donna Crow (Danny) of Russellville; brother, Larry Lawrence of Sulphur Springs; her twin sister, Anita Beatty of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Hardin Cemetery in Jefferson County.  Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M.
