Roy Alvin Hedrick of East End was born September 23, 1948 at Searcy, Arkansas the son of Ira Leroy and Mary Hybernia Minyard Hedrick. He was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church, owner of Hedrick Construction and loved fishing, hunting and car racing. Alvin was a beloved member of Big Tent Hunting Club and was a "Backhoe Rodeo" Champion.
Mr. Hedrick died Monday, August 7, 2006 at his home in the East End Community at the age of 57.

Brother: Dub and wife Debbye Hedrick of East End;
Sister: Mary and husband Larry Bisbee of East End;
Special nephew: Greg McGathy of East End;
Nephews: Ron McGathy of Fayetteville, Luke Hedrick of Searcy, Gunner McGathy of East End and Zac Cheesman of East End;
Nieces: Staci Hedrick, Stacey Ausbrooks, Kim Cheesman all of East End, Lydia Hoyt of Morrilton;
Mother-in-law: Lois Hughes of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM., Friday, August 11, 2006 at Forest Tower Baptist Church near East End with Bro. John Cox, Bro. Lary Tidball and Harlan Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery at East End. Visitation: Thursday, 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
