Obituary

Amy Michelle Henderson Clark, 51, of Sheridan, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, after a courageous, four‑and‑a‑half‑year battle with cancer. Born on October 29, 1973, to Ronald "Ronnie" Henderson and Judy Ashcraft Henderson, Amy was a devoted daughter whose warmth and compassion shaped every chapter of her life.

A gifted and caring nurse, Amy dedicated over two decades to the health and well‑being of her community—working in local hospitals and nursing homes where her patients became like family. Colleagues remember her gentle voice, steadfast empathy, and unwavering commitment to excellence in care.

Away from the bedside, Amy's greatest joy was the water. Whether she was basking on a sunlit beach, paddling on the lake, drifting down the river, or splashing in the family pool, her radiant smile sparkled brightest amidst waves and laughter. She treasured family gatherings above all, delighting in every hug, every story told around the table, and every moment spent with loved ones.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lane Holmes; daughter, Kayci Holmes; grandmother, Sarah Cates; grandparents, Lloyd and Lucille Henderson.

Amy is survived by her husband, Nathan Clark; her daughter, Amber West (Keifer); her sons Hunter Holmes and Eli Clark; her parents, Ronnie and Judy Henderson; and her sisters, Julie Smith (Clayton) and Kerri Bishop (Blake). She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, RyleeAnn, Kenlee, Avie, Amelia and a baby girl on the way, Rory; nieces, and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and joy.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in
Prattsville. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are CJ Smith, Tyler Brown, Sam Smith, Blake Bishop, TK Wilson, Mike Clark and Todd Burrow.

Amy's compassion for others, her laughter by the water's edge, and her boundless love for her family will remain forever in our hearts. May her memory be a blessing.

The family would like to say thank you to Elite Hospice, Crystal and Christy and the staff of McCoy Tygart Drug Store for the wonderful care they gave to her and the compassion for Amy and her family.
