Angela Griffin Pate

Angela Michelle Griffin Pate of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 20, 1976 in Bastrop, Louisiana, the daughter of Wesley Griffin, Sr. and Brenda Ward Griffin. She was the cafeteria manager at Sheridan High School for many years. She was a member of 365 Church in North Little Rock, and she enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping, going to church and watching any sport played by the Razorbacks.

Angela died Monday, May 4, 2026 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 49.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Griffin, Jr.

Survivors: husband, Rickey Pate; son, Rickey Pate, Jr.; daughter, Hailey Pate (Josh Martin); parents, Wesley and Brenda Griffin all of Sheridan; brothers, Kevin (Laci) Griffin of Sheridan, Keith Griffin (Justin) of Benton; sister-in-law, Delores Griffin of Sheridan and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and coworkers.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Pate officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel North Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM also at the funeral home.

The family would like everyone to wear Razorback attire to the service in honor of Angela.
