Obituary

Anna Sue Childers Clark of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 14, 1935 in Grapevine, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ray R. and Violet Wood Childers. She was a longtime member of Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church and a current member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served her Lord faithfully. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School Class of 1953. She retired from Stant and had been office manager for Classic Carpet with her son for many years. She enjoyed sewing, flowers, cooking, singing in church, knitting and crocheting as well as family vacations where she always came home with flowers, seashells, rocks, or a memorable keepsake.

She died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age 85.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin sister, Betty Lou Childers, and a brother, Archie Childers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Roy Lee Clark of Sheridan; sons, Roger (Loretta) Clark, Terry (Debbie) Clark, Tony (Tracy) Clark all of Sheridan and Tracy Clark of Houston, Texas; sister, Clover Nell Hale and Sherry (Larry) Reppond both of Sheridan; special friends, Cindy Fell and Shirley Denis; 8 grandchildren, Carolyn, Terra, Jason, Nicholas, Matthew, Patrick, Brittany and Janna; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Nicholas Clark, Matt Clark, Patrick Clark, Jason Clark, Guy Evans, Brandon Hawthorne, Clay Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, #1 Children's Way, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or charity of donor's choice.
