Anna B. Young of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 25, 1918 in Du Bois, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Zoskey Barchony. She was of the Catholic Faith and she was a great daughter, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was known by many as "Granny."

"Granny" went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at home at the age of 90.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Young and siblings, Minnie Bailey, Joe Barchony and Alexander Barchony. and a granddaughter Judy Lynn Lewis.

Daughters, Judy Lewis and husband Ronnie of Locus Grove, Georgia;
Patty Nelson of Sheridan;
Sister, Pauline Craig of Du Bois, Penn.;
7 grandchildren, Rickie and wife Beth, Lea and husband Rob, Michael and wife Jessica, Tiffany and husband Tim, Amanda and husband Bill, Carol Ann and husband Kenny and Angela.
12 great grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Courtney, Allison, Bailey, Nolan, Kendra, Andy, Roxanne, Samantha, Zach and Hannah and 1 great great grandson, Dalton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jon Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4-6 Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Nelson, Tim Eichler, Bill Hays, David Hollingshead, Anthony Watson, Mike Angelo and Robert Sallis. Honorary pallbearers will be Tiger Nelson, Bob Pifer and Alan Thornburg.
