IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annette Finley
Ford Creech
November 18, 1943 – July 5, 2022
Annette Finley Ford Creech was born November 18, 1943 in Sheridan. She passed away July 5 at Saline Memorial Hospital surrounded by her girls or chicks as she like to refer to them. Annette was the only child of A.Z. & Vivian Rubow Finley and was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, John Wayne Ford and Charles Creech, and grandson, Brooks Vaughan.
Annette graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1962, and her first job was working for Trotter Ford in Pine Bluff. She bought her first car, a Ford falcon, from there with the help of Mr Henry Trotter. She went on to work at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in White Hall for over 44 years. After retirement from the Arsenal, she worked in the alternative learning education program in the Sheridan Schools for 7 additional years before finally retiring. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she served for more than 20 years. She supported many activities in the church and was a devoted back row Baptist.
She had many loves and adventures in her life and was up for any type of road trip with her family. She was an avid Razorback and Sheridan Yellowjacket fan where she rarely missed a home game. She was a Razorback season ticket holder & foundation member for over 50 years. She was a "shoe" lady who had many shoes and extended that trait to two of her granddaughters. She loved eating at the Cracker Barrel, shopping, Christmas, Southern Gospel music, her family, and friends, but most of all she loved Jesus.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Amy & Mike Vaughan, Katy & Wayne Miller, and Lisa & DJ Ray all of Sheridan. She also had 5 grandchildren, Michaela & Mark Venable, Justin Ray, Ashley Ray, Delaney & Marshall Fry, and Sydney Kate Miller as well as 3 great grandchildren, Mackenzie Venable, Blair Ray, and Maddox Mapili. Her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren were the apples of her eye and she enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them and spent many days watching their ballgames.
Services will be at 10 am Friday, July 8, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, July 7 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Sheridan.
