Archie Lee Mosley, Sr.,87, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. He was born January 22, 1933 in Bearden, Arkansas, the son of the late Obie B. and Alma Doherty Mosley. Archie trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior on June 15, 2018. He was a logger, working for Wayne Holloway, Shelby and JoAnn Taylor and Fox Mill before retiring at almost 70 years of age from the County Solid Waste. He loved junking in his later years, making extra money to live on, sharing all his treasures he came upon with his family and friends. He was the greatest storyteller with a vivid memory of all his phases of life.

He quit school at age 6 and started working immediately to help his family. He would give to anyone in need, his last dollar, his last shirt off his back.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Walters Mosley; brothers, Horace Mosley, Obie "Mutt" Mosley, Jr., George Mosley and Edison Mosley; sisters, Nell Rose Nowlin and Loretta "Sister" Mosley.

He is survived by three daughters, Katie Jackson, Helen Mosley and Marylin (Gary Don) Easley; four sons, Archie Mosley, Jr., Jackie Mosley, Terry (Missy) Mosley, Dennis Mosley and his girlfriend Vickie Mason; grandchildren, Jeremy Mosley, Cody and Tiffany Easley, Alicia Mosley, Devon Mosley, Jasmine Brixey; great grandchildren, Destany Mosley, Dalton Mosley, Yancy Easley, Drake Easley; brothers-in-law, Hershel Walters, Ronnie Walters; sisters-in-law, Betty Mosley, Wilma Mosley and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2020 at Jackson Cemetery in Sheridan. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Doc and Sherry Highsmith and staff, Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab staff, Vickie Murphy and Becky Ponder, his sitters, and Arkansas Hospice for the kindness that was shown to him and his family during his time of need.
