Arnold Lee Lafferty of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 27, 1955 at Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Carolyn Summers Lafferty and the late Leland Lafferty.  He worked for Greyhound Bus Lines for 32 years, and later worked for Evergreen Packaging.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching westerns, and was a member of Smith-Taylor Hunting Club. Arnold was a member and board member of the former Hope Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Lafferty died Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home, at the age of 66.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Chris Nichols.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Cotton Lafferty; mother, Carolyn Lafferty; brothers-in-law, Harold Cotton and Caroll Cotton. He is also survived by a special, lifelong friend, Louis Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan With Casey Smith and Louis Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation is also Wednesday, from 1:00-2:00 P.M.
