Arthur L. Parker of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 14, 1964 at Salinas, California, the son of the late Idell Parker and Geneva Mullins Parker Chambers. He was a member, and former Deacon at Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Grapevine, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Arthur's greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Mr. Parker died Friday, December 30, 2016 at his home, at the age of 52. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Burrier.


Survivors include his wife and best friend, Marsha House Parker of Sheridan; sons, Jonathan Parker of Ivan, Shawn House and James House, both of Sheridan; daughter, Jessica West of Sheridan; brother, Daniel Parker; sisters, Lisa Webb, Sheila Parker, Betty Parker, all of Wright; grandchildren, Brent Parker, Layla Byrd, Colton House, Peyton House, Ethan White, Taylor White, Brody White, and Brady Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
