Aubrey Allen of Sheridan, Arkansas was born in Sheridan on July 23, 1912, the son of the late Thomas Havis and Leona Gartman Allen. He died on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas at the age of 92 years.

He was a retired timber contractor and a charter member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joey Allen whom he married on July 17, 1970. She died on March 23 of this year. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Chipman and a great grand daughter, Anna Jane Stanton.

Survivors: 2 sons, James (Linda) Allen of Sheridan; Tom (Diane) Allen of Sheridan; 2 daughters: Linda (Joe) Naylor of Pine Bluff; and Rhonda Harris of Sheridan; 7 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Brother John Mooney and Brother William Ashcraft officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Pallbearers are: John Humphries, Wayne Gillis, Eddie Moring, Mike Humphries, Bill Lancaster, Glen Talbert, Carroll McCool and James Johnson.
