Auston Eugene Oden, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 20, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas, the son of the late Auston E. Oden, Sr. and Marjorie Mae Staggs Welty. He was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church.

Mr. Oden died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 75.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: 6 children; 7 brothers; 1 sister and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
