Ava Jo Welch Dial of Leola, Arkansas was born May 3, 1936 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Theodore and Josephine Welch. Ava was a homemaker and raised four boys, She enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers, making ceramics, and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved spending time with her boys, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dog, Sissy. She was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Dial died at her home on Saturday, February 5 ^th , 2022 at the age of 85. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Barney Dean Dial of 60 years.

Survivors include: sons, Michael (Kim) Burton of Hot Springs, Larry (Ruth) Dial of Leola, Jimmy Dial of Leola, David Dial of Leola; brothers Richard and Ted Welch; grandchildren Derrick Burton of Leola, Jeffrey (Paige) Burton of Leola, Jessie (Amber) West of Jefferson, Shelby (Corey) Brown of Arkadelphia, Dagen Dial of Malvern; 5 great grandsons, 6 great granddaughters and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Easterling officiating. Burial will follow at Tulip Cemetery near Tulip. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. until service time.

Pallbearers are Corey Brown, Todd Easterling, Dagen Dial, Jessie West, Robbie Stanton and Wayne Miller. Honorary pallbearer is Mike Lawrence.
