Barbara Jo Burris Wages of Hensley, Arkansas was born June 12, 1935 in Hensley, the daughter of the late William Homer and Willie Barbara Dozier Burris. She was a member of Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church at Hensley.

Ms. Wages died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at White Hall Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 73.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Floyd, Ralph, George and Howard Burris and a sister Irene Murray.

Survivors: Son, Jeff H. Wages of Harrison;
Brother, Homer and wife Sue Burris of Hensley;
Sisters, Kathryn States of North Little Rock;
Kathleen Shirron of Hensley;
Jane and husband Stanley Smith of North Little Rock and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Doug Burris, Bro. Eugene Miller and Bro. Ronald Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Woodson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
