Barbara Jean Hamilton Thurber of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 1, 1956 at Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Geri Jackson Crutchfield and the late Harold Hamilton. She attended Hope Pentecostal Church at Sheridan.

Ms. Thurber died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Hot Spring County Medical Center in Malvern at the age of 55. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda "Rusty" McNear.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Ann Naylor of Bryant; mother and step-dad, Geri and Bobby Joe Crutchfield of Sheridan; brothers, David Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; sisters, Linda Matthews, Brenda Tripp and Cheryl Hamilton, all of Sheridan; grandchildren, Phillip, Logan, Tristan, and Macee Naylor; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Walnut Grove Cemetery near Ferndale with her brother, Jerry Hamilton officiating. There will be no visitation.
