Bennie Jean "B.J" Winston Smith of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 20, 1954 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the daughter of the late Bennie and Doris Reynolds Winston. She was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and a CNA at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Bennie Jean died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 55.

Survivors: Husband of 37 years, Eddie Smith of Sheridan;

Son, Chad and wife Sarah Smith of Sheridan,

Daughter, Crystal and husband Russell Gibbs of Cabot;

Brother, W.A. Winston and wife Deborah of Sheridan;

Sister, Jo Murry of Little Rock;

Grandchildren; Elizabeth Smith, Madlyn Smith, Clay Smith, and Deagan Gibbs and a host of nieces, nephews and special elderly friends at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab center.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 10, 2009 at New Life Fellowship Church with Rev. Steve Cypert and Rev. Dennis Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.

Visitation: Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral Home.

All the Pallbearers are her extended sons which she loved dearly, Patrick Ratcliff, Joe Foshee, Bud Taylor, Micheal Cox, (Bigun), Brad Leopard and Chad Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Plunkett, Terry Campbell, Nick Forbush, Jared Washburn, Joseph Rupe, Chuckie Teague, Aron Rodgers, Kevin Carr and Casey Turner.
