Bernice Hamilton Reynolds Davenport of Sheridan, Arkansas was born in Sheridan, June 25, 1910 the daughter of the late Ralph Wylie and Cora Laster Hamilton. Mrs. Davenport had worked several years at Grapevine School as Supervisor of the cafeteria. She was a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and had been a Pine Bluff Commercial carrier for 25 years.

Mrs. Davenport died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 96.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bo Reynolds; Daughters, Linda Sue Reynolds; Kitsey Reynolds Purtle; Brothers, Glenn; Ralph; Woodrow and Leo Hamilton; Sisters, Lola Hunter; Jude Fletcher; Grandson, Russell Reynolds; Great granddaughter, Jessica Kelley;

Survivors; Husband, Grover Davenport of Sheridan;

Son and Daughter in Law; R.C. and Dianna Reynolds of White Hall;

Daughters and Son in laws, Virginia and J.B. Lites of Grapevine;
Mary Jo and Thomas Wilson of Pine Bluff;
Georgia and Bob Ferguson of Benton;

11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren;

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Kenneth Click and Bro. Shelton Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Clement Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
