Bernice Crutchfield Pumphrey of Prattsville, Arkansas was born March 20, 1915 at Prattsville, the daughter of the late Albert Thural and Clara Sanford Crutchfield. She was a homemaker and member of the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville.

Mrs. Pumphrey died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Pumphrey.

Son: Scott Pumphrey and wife Ruth of Huntington Beach, California

Daughter: Jill Pumphrey of Prattsville

Daughter-in-law: Juanice Pumphrey of Prattsville

Sister: Mary Sims of Cypress, California

Grandson: Neal and wife Lindsey of Prattsville

Great Grandchildren: Madison and Makenzie Pumprey of Prattsville

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. Scott Bates officiating. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday, 3-6 P.M. Memorials may be made to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 9346 Hwy. 270 West, Prattsville, Arkansas 72129.
