Bertha "Bert" Lou Kammer Crump, age 77, a resident of Sheridan, Arkansas, formerly of DeQueen, Arkansas (yet always a Texan at heart) died January 30, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
She was born July 17, 1935 in Mirando City, Texas, to Roy Alphon and Verna Etta Kammer.
She was retired and a member of Moore's Chapel Church in Sheridan, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd J. (Jr.) Crump and a step-daughter, Carolyn Springer, both of Sheridan, Arkansas.
She is survived by one sister, Betty Dubose of College Station, Texas, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Barbara Kammer of San Antonio, Texas and Bob and Frieda Kammer of Calliham, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Verna and Orville Smith of DeQueen, Arkansas, Diane and Doug Schafer of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Vickie and Wesley Lalleman of Hot Springs, Arkansas and one son and daughter-in-law, R.A. "Rolo" and Ann Phillips of Granbury, Texas, one step-son, and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 4, 2013 at Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Pastor Lindsey Saenz officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 preceding the funeral service.
