Obituary

Bette Sue Stubbs Trotter of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 30, 1933 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Garland and Eva Southerland Stubbs. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Sheridan and a graduate of Sheridan High School.

She was a Godly servant who worked alongside her husband for over 50 years as he pastored churches in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. She loved playing the piano and cooking for her family, friends, missionaries and evangelists.

Mrs. Trotter passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 81. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tessie Reid.

Survivors; husband of almost 61 years, John D. Trotter of Sheridan; sons, David Trotter and wife Carol of Lake Village; Bruce Trotter of Aubrey, Texas; grandsons, Jordan, Jonathan , Thomas, and Allen Trotter and a host of friends and church family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darleen Carder, Rev. Jim Bradshaw and Rev. Eddie Gwin officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
