Betty Sue Adams Carter of Prattsville, Arkansas was born October 30, 1944 in Sheridan, Arkansas, the daughter of Katherine Stuckey Adams and the late Gus A. Adams. She was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Betty Sue passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Baptist Health Medical Center at the age of 63.

Survivors: Husband of 45 years, James "Jimmie" Carter of Prattsville;
Son, Jimmy Carter and wife Loretta of Prattsville;
Daughter, Kathy Hartness and husband James of Prattsville;
Mother, Katherine Adams of Sheridan;
Grandchildren, Gracie Ann Carter, Jon Thomas Carter and Katie Marie Hartness all of Prattsville;

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville with Bro. Neal Pumphrey and Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ed Carter, Bob Carter, Daniel Carter, James Hartness, Gene Sligh and Mark Bennings.
