Obituary
Betty Ruth Allen Bratton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 12, 1934 in Texarkana, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Spearman Allen and Mamie Ruth Crabtree Allen. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, hunting and camping.
Mrs. Bratton died on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 81.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Van Bratton, Jr. and a brother John S. Allen, Jr.
Survivors: daughters, Debra and husband Robert Irvin of Kerrville, Texas; Mary Jane and husband Danny Ray of Sheridan; granddaughter, Tara Ray of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2015 at New Hope cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers are Jon Hart, John David Heird, Jim Allen and Lonnie Crabtrey.
