Betty Carolyn Holloway Hicks of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 17, 1942 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Horace Wayne and Ruby Lee Hamilton Holloway. She was a member of First Landmark Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and going to deer camp.

Bet died December 7, 2022 at her home at the age of 80.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Drake and a niece, Meliana Gibbs-Talbert.

Survivors; husband, William Hicks, Jr.; sons, Eddie (Susan) Hicks, Jeff (Brittanie) Hicks; brother, David (Charlene) Holloway; sister-in-law, Pat Davis all of Sheridan; grandchildren, Whitney (Tanner) Lively of Sheridan, Hannah (Nick) Ware of Hot Springs, Tayler (Colby) Hight of Sheridan, Bailey Hicks of Sheridan; great grandchildren, Hannah, Charli Mae, Grayson and numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. Cain Nattin officiating.  Visitation is 9:00 AM until service time. A family burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Landmark Baptist Church Youth Center, 402 West Center, Sheridan, AR 72150.

Pallbearers are Lane Lankford, Michael Gilbert, David Moring, Scott Davis, Brad LaRue, Glen Harp. Honorary pallbearers are Tanner Lively, Nick Ware, Colby Hight, Ethan Osborn, and Gunner Osborn
