Betty Jo Frizzell Payer of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 27, 1938 in Humphrey, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Edgar and Jessie Morris Frizzell. She was a member of Humphrey Baptist Church.

Mrs. Payer died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, at the age of 79.

She enjoyed shopping, going to the lake, cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren and helping others. She was very supportive of her husband in his work and hobbies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Payer, brother, Bobby Frizzell and his wife Micky.

Survivors: husband, William D. "Billy" Payer of Sheridan; son, Bryan Payer and Carla Shipman of Sheridan; daughter, Gail Payer of Little Rock; brother, Wayne and wife Martha Frizzell of Stuttgart; sister, Patricia and husband Tim Ables of Humphrey; grandchildren, Zachary Payer, Tyler Payer and Hunter Payer; 1 great grandchild, Collin Payer and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Humphrey Baptist Church in Humphrey, Arkansas, with Bro. Bobby McPherson officiating. Burial will follow at Flynn Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
