Betty Jean Bailey Reed, 78, of the Prague Community, East of Sheridan went to meet her Savior on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born on July 11, 1942 in Lincoln County, Arkansas to Clyde C. and Eula Bailey. She graduated from Texarkana High School. She married Kenneth D. Reed on June 28, 1963 in Pine Bluff. She was a member of Claud Road Baptist Church, a housewife, and a retired business owner. She was affectionately called "Grammie" by her grandchildren and many others. She was known for her love of crafts which included crocheting, painting, and Ceramics. She loved to sing in her church choir and if you listened closely could often be heard singing her favorite hymn, "In The Garden" at home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Martha Jane Bailey.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth D. Reed; her four children, Gene Reed of White Hall; Stephanie Bowers (Gary) of Orlando, Florida; Randall Reed (Angela) of White Hall; and Amy McGarrah (Bart) of Sheridan; her nine grandchildren, Keith Reed (Amanda), Jacob Bowers, Abbigail Bowers, MaeLee Reed; Luke Reed; Emma Reed; Dave Mitchell; Harley Mitchell; and Rhyder Reed; and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patsy Little (Neal) of White Hall and her beloved aunt Hazel Hand of Hampton. Other survivors include numerous, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Center Campground Cemetery near Prague.   Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.
