Betty McKown Yarberry, 67, of the Ico Community passed away on August 23, 2020. She was born May 10, 1953 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late Earl D "Mack" and Clarice Tabor McKown. She was a 1971 Sheridan High School graduate. She retired from Levi Strauss & Co.

She enjoyed spending time watching westerns, Razorback football & NASCAR races. She loved throwing horseshoes, cooking & listening to classic rock. Her favorite pastime was visiting with her many loved ones. She was a beloved mother, grandmother & best friend to all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Yarberry; sister, Jewel D McKown and brother, Earl J "Kayo" McKown. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Conrad N and Georgianna McKown; daughter Paula Yarberry; son David Croy; granddaughter Ashley Mitchell, and many "adopted kinfolk" that held a very special place in her heart. She was also survived by her fur babies, Dixie, Anne & Belle.

A memorial service will be at 7:30PM Friday night at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with visitation from 6:30PM until service time.
