Beverly Miller Burdess of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 5, 1942 in Griswold, Iowa, the daughter of the late Thomas Clifton and Charlotte Cleo Lake Miller. She enjoyed crocheting, watching John Wayne movies, and was the best cook in the state. She loved her Kohler family and also loved the Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab family as well.

Ms. Burdess died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 78.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Burdess; a son, Jerald Dewayne Burdess and a grandchild, Michelle Lea Weeks.

Survivors: son, Clifton Lowell Gillis of Auburn, Illinois; daughters, Rebecca Lynn Haynes and husband Phillip of Sheridan, Pamela LaNette Grooms and husband James of Sheridan; sisters, Charlene Anderson of Iowa and Carla Smith and husband Tim of Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

At her request there will be no service at this time.
