Obituary

Beverly Ann Park McFatridge of Redfield, left this world early after 54 years here.  She spent the last 7 ½ months of her life in a valiant struggle against sepsis and it's multiple complications that finally overwhelmed her body on October 29, 2020.

She entered this world on January 11, 1966, and was named Beverly Ann as a nod to her Papaw Coy Park since this was the name he had picked for a daughter he didn't have.

"Bev" or "Beb-Beb", as she was  called by her family, is survived by her husband, Dennis and step-daughter Brittany, beloved mother-in-law, Doris Webb, by her mother, Linda Stewart Park, her sister Sherry and husband Herman Martin, and by her father, Donnie Park and stepmother Diane.  Additional beloved survivors include her two nephews, Gage (Alyson) Neighbors and Luke (Francia Rangel) Neighbors; niece, Aubrey (Drew) Johnston and grandnephew Ryan, and grandnieces Lorelei and Valentina.  She is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins from all branches of her blended family, and many friends and work colleagues.

Beverly was predeceased by grandparents Coy and Dollie Park and Dan and Faye Halstead.  Her late great-grandparents Walter and Mary Shipp also were a strong presence in her support network as she grew to young adulthood.

Also surviving Beverly are her fur babies, whom she regarded as full members of her family.  The current three are the last of many who were lucky enough to have been cherished by Beverly.  They are Australian Shepherd Savannah, Pomeranian Bella and cat Angel Pooh.

Beverly was a long-time member of Redfield Missionary Baptist Church where she taught youth classes and supported many activities of the church.

She attended elementary and middle school at Redfield and graduated from White Hall High School.  She completed some undergraduate courses at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Beverly had been employed at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, for many years.

Beverly would want to be remembered as someone who loved her family, loved all animals, and loved deer hunting with the love of her life Dennis.

Because of Covid-19 rules during Beverly's hospital confinement, she was, for the first several months, allowed no visitors and in the final months, only her husband, her mother, and her sister were allowed to visit.  Beverly's family would like to thank the many, many friends who reached out in other creative ways to offer their love and support.

Those who wish to remember Beverly by contributing to her favorite causes might consider donations to Redfield Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 25, Redfield, Arkansas, 72132 or to the Snuggles Park Memorial Fund (which Beverly co-founded with her sister Sherry) at All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, 4549 Highway 62 West, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
