Obituary

William D. "Bill" Tribble of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 4, 1936 in the Corinth Community, near Sheridan, the son of the late William Silas and Cora Smith Tribble. He was a United States Navy Veteran, and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Bill was a proud and faithful member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and treasurer. He also served for many years as president of the Corinth Cemetery Association. Bill spent most of his time serving others, both family and friends, and in his spare time, he was an avid reader.

Mr. Tribble died Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the day after his 80th birthday, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leigh Ann Tribble Tompkins.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Millirons Tribble of Sheridan; son, Donald Scott Tribble of Bella Vista; daughter, Debbie Tribble of Sheridan; sister, Betty Barnes of Sheridan; grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Tribble, Alyssa Marie Parker, James William Andrew Parker, Leigh Alexandria Parker, Lindsay Nicole Tribble, William Silas Tribble, Wesley Scott Tribble; great grandchildren, Bailey Michelle Tribble, Zachary Lee Tribble, Tobias Charles Borders, James William Andrew Parker, Jr. He is also survived by a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Pallbearers are Donald Tribble, James William Andrew Parker, Scott Wells, William Tribble, Robert Cossey, Robert Collums and Dusty Wells.
