Billie Thomas Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 01, 1938, in Prattsville, the son of the late Harvey Lee and Vida Ellen Hope Harris.
He was a member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and a Disabled Veteran having served in the United States Army from 1958-1978. He became a truck driver for USA Trucking, Inc. and then became a truck driver for Carl Smith Trucking until his health would not allow him to work. He lived his life as a godly man, showing love and compassion to all his family and friends. He loved taking his grandchildren and great grandchildren hunting every chance he had.
Bill went to be with the lord on April 16, 2026, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 87.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 3 wives, Pattie Harris, Zella Whitmire Harris and Eunice Harris. 2 daughters Holy Henson, Triba Hunter, and 1 granddaughter Cassidy Smith and 1 grandson Joshua Belanger.
Survivors: sons, Billie Harris, Harvey Harris, of Sheridan. Daughters Haley Hunter-Harris of Benton, Kelli Settle, Kristi Cox, Robyn Smith, Lahonda Mountz (John Lawrence); sister, Doris Faye Harris of California; Grandchildren Katie, Bobby, Tyler (Dannielle), Sara (Shannon), Amanda DeMoss (Adam), Jessica Smith (Patrick), Colton (Mary), Emily (Scott), Erica, Kaylinn (Lester), Riley, Skyler, Leyton, Naomi, Johannis (Hannah); 24 greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Meredith officiating. Visitation is prior to the service from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery near Sheridan.
Pallbearers are Bobby Chapman, Justin Koon (Buzzsaw), Eddie Suttle, Danny Clark, Tony Puckett (Doolittle) and Lester Bordenaro.
Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Jordan and Larry Cockerton
