Billy Joe Adams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 17, 1939 in Ashland, Kentucky, the son of the late Hearl and Hazel Maxine Kemper Adams.

He was a member of Pollard Baptist Church in Ashland, Kentucky. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching cars go by as he smoked his pipe. He also enjoyed spoiling the neighbors dogs by giving them dog treats. He loved local history, could tell you anything you wanted to know about Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Adams died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Sheridan at the age of 80.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Karen Sagraves and Jane Lyons.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Jo Carole (Darrell) Smith of Sheridan; son, William Len (Carole) Adams of Conway; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Andrew Smith, and Christopher Adams and a host of extended family members and friends.

A service will be held at a later date at Ashland, Kentucky.
