Billy Joe Florence, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born in Port Gibson, Mississippi on November 28, 1967 the son of the late Billy Joe Florence and Wanda Faye Mitchell Ward. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a millwright for Crouse Logging.

Billy died Monday at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 40.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Florence who died August 19, 1990.

Fiancé, Jennifer Garganeous of Sheridan;
Mom and Dad, Wanda and Steve Ward of Sheridan;
Brothers, Tristen and Blake Ward of Sheridan;
Grandchildren, Timithi and Hunter Rivera;
Special Cousin, Chyanne (Chyniki) Mitchell of Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Franklin Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in the Shiloh community. Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Florence, David Florence, Mike McKinney, Rick Hudson, Eric McKinney, Riley McKinney, David Hollingshead and Erich Boone.
