Obituary

Billy Carroll Lawson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 10, 1934 at Monticello, the son of Nettie Phillips Lawson and Harvey Carroll Lawson, Sr. He was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan, was retired from Sterling Faucett (Kohler) in Sheridan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. The greatest love in Billy's life was his family and he was devoted to them.

Mr. Lawson died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 73.

Survivors include his wife, Jodie Pauline Parmer Lawson of Sheridan; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Bo Harris, Cheryl and Ross Mote, and Vickie and Jimmy Easley, all of Sheridan;
mother, Nettie Phillips Lawson; brother, Harvey Carroll (Sonny) Lawson, Jr. and wife Brenda of Redfield; Grandchildren, Michael Lawson Harris and wife Amanda, Nick Alan Mote, Adam Ross Mote, Christian Lawson Mote , Colton James Easley, Dillon Lawson Easley, and Anna Elizabeth Easley; great grandson, Tanner Riley Harris.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. John Mooney and Bro. Brad Warren officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Harris, Nick Mote, Adam Mote, Bo Harris, Jimmy Easley and Ross Mote. Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Harris, Anna Easley, Christian Mote and Tanner Harris and the Friendship Sunday School Class of First Landmark Baptist Church.
