Billy Wayne Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas was born December 24, 1936 in Prattsville, Arkansas the son of the late Fred and Zelma Duncan Moore. He joined Mabelvale United Methodist Church in 1959 and had served there as church treasurer, treasurer of the Child Care Board, Administrative Council, and Finance Board.

Mr. Moore was an insurance agent for MFA and had retired from One Beacon Insurance as a premium auditor. He also was a member of West Wood Lodge #353 and a past member of the Sheridan Bass Club.

Mr. Moore died Sunday, July 18, 2004 at his home at the age of 67.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Faye Dell Williams and Freddie Lee Moore.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce Ann Blake Moore of the home, Sons, Mike Moore of Hot Springs, Mark Moore of Little Rock; Daughter, Cheri Cherry of Alexander and special friend Myriam Mehyou of Little Rock.

Brothers: Bobby Moore of Hot Springs, Terry Moore of Sheridan

Sisters: Aleen Mitchell of Danville, Peggy Lowery of Sheridan

2 grandchildren: David and Tim

Graveside service will be 10:00 Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Moores Chapel Cemetery near Sheridan. A celebration of his life will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at Mablevale United Methodist Church in Little Rock with Rev. Bob Marble officiating.
Memorials may be made to Mabelvale United Methodist Church, 10500 Woodman, Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103. Pallbearers: Wayne Cullins, Steve Littleton, Jimmy McMilliam, Ron Reesor, Roy Webb, and Jim McKenzie. Honorary pallbearers are men of Mabelvale United Methodist Church.
