Blanche Beck Mears Gregory of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 24, 1917 in Ben Lomond, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rueben Lowery and Alta Mize Beck. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Sheridan and East End School for 15 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Malvern.

Mrs. Gregory died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs at the age of 90.

Survivors: Sons, Roland and wife Becky Mears of San Lendro, California; Nelson and wife Carolyn Mears of Sheridan and David and wife Kim Mears of Gravett, Arkansas;

Daughters, Jo and husband Willie Carter of Sheridan and Helen and husband Dwight Ford of Malvern;

Brothers, Alton Beck of Little Rock, Jason Beck of Des Moines, Iowa; Raymond Beck of Wilton and R.L. Beck of Sheridan;

Sisters, Evelyn Welch of Sheridan and Joann Barham of Ozark;

11 grandchildren: 24 great grandchildren: 2 great great grandchildren;

Visitation will be at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM with a scripture, song and prayer. The body will be cremated and the ashes will be buried at a later date.
