Bobbie Jean Green Davis of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 8, 1946 at Oakland, California, the daughter of the late Marvin Theodore and Mary Margaret Bufkin Green. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan, and enjoyed crocheting , quilting, and crafts.

Mrs. Davis died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 70. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and best friend, William Howard "Bill" Davis, and a sister, Verdie Marie Staggs.

Survivors include her sons, Michael H. Davis and his girlfriend, Destiny King of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, John Robert Davis of Grady, Arkansas; daughter, Barbara Sue Davis of Tampa, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Francis and William Johnson of Dade City, Florida; aunt, Louise Kirkland of California; uncle, Jerry Buffkin of California; grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Davis, Ashley Davis, Daryl Lee VanDyke, Jr., Dillon Steven Ryals, Daylon Johnson, Joshua Johnson; great grandchildren, Journey Johnson and Harley Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Gary Copeland and Michael Davis officiating. Committal services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Canaan Baptist Cemetery in Spearsville, Louisiana. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
