Obituary

Bobbie Middleton Pharr Tissue, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at Landmark Lifestyles in Bryant, Arkansas. She was 91 years old.

Bobbie was born on February 4, 1934, in Red River Parish, Louisiana, to Lacy and Dera Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Curtis Pharr, whom she married in 1952; her second husband, John Tissue, whom she married in 2001; and her brothers, Elbert Ray and Jimmy Middleton.

She is survived by her loving sister, Sue Perkins (Randall) of Mooringsport, Louisiana, and her three devoted daughters: Jan Caldwell (Jim) of Sheridan, Arkansas; Terri Flowers (Doug) of Houston, Texas; and Keitha Savage (Larry) of Bryant, Arkansas. She leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Eric Crutchfield (Sheryl), Brittney Navarro (Ervin), Lacy Rogers (Jake Neal), Lance Caldwell, Jalyn Lee (Jake), and Kelsey Rogers. Bobbie was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Brock Crutchfield, Braylee Crutchfield, and Curt Flowers.


A member of First Baptist Church in Bryant, Bobbie's faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She had a deep love for her family, and in her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and cooking. In recent years, she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many dear friends she made at Landmark Lifestyles.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Landmark Lifestyles in Bryant for their care and compassion, with special appreciation to Tiffany Nugent for her kindness and support.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 28th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. A celebration of Bobbie's life will take place Tuesday, April 29th, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, officiated by her nephew Aaron Middleton with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch East Cemetery in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Eric Crutchfield, Brock Crutchfield, Lance Caldwell, Jake Lee, Kevin Pharr, and Ronnie Dupree.

Bobbie will be remembered for her warm heart, enduring faith, and the deep love she shared with those around her. She will be greatly missed.
