Bobby Gene Bogard, Sr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 11, 1933 in Leola, Arkansas, the son of the late Robert G. Bogard M.D. and Viola Duncan Bogard. He was of the Baptist Faith, was a retired painter, and had served in the US Navy.

He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, deer hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, eating and spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to have parties and entertain.

Mr. Bogard died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 83.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Bogard, his siblings including his twin brother, Bennie Joe Bogard, and children, Bobby Bogard, Jr., Michael Bogard, David Bogard and Kathy Bogard.

Survivors: wife of over 20 years, Dianne Gean Bogard of Sheridan; sons, Roger Rasico, Jr. and wife Christy of Little Rock, Scott Davis and wife B.J. of Sheridan; daughter, Deborah Stultz of Little Rock and daughter/granddaughter, Kimberly Barnard and husband David of Ico; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchilden and one on the way and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 6, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, with Bro. Tim Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
