Obituary
Bonnie Atchley Henderson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 8, 1933 in the Crossroads Community of Grant County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Robert Dee and Verda Plunkett Atchley.
Mrs. Henderson died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 83.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, a retired school teacher and an antique collector.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Henderson.
Survivors: daughter, LaRisa Groves and husband Larry of Magnolia; grandson McCall Groves and her caregivers, Tamyra and Chris Cody of Sheridan as well as a host of extended family members.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2016 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time, also at the church.
Pallbearers are Troupe Bryant, Rayvon Vailes, John Vailes, Gary Hines, Bobby Pierce and Vance Blackerby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 357, Sheridan, AR 72150.
