Bradley Ray "Brad" Smith of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 13, 1975 at Pine Bluff, the son of Sue Reaves Herrera and the late Beauford Ray "Biff" Smith . He was saved and baptized at Immanuel Baptist Church in 1988. He was a Union Pipe welder and member of Local Arkansas Pipefitters Union UA 155. He loved spending time outdoors, from fishing and hunting to gardening, he enjoyed it all. He had very strong political beliefs and wasn't shy about sharing them with you.

Brad died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 47. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Herrera, his grandparents, Truitt and Geri Smith and Leonard and Gladys Reaves.

Survivors include his son, Anthony Reaves Smith of Magnet Cove; mother, Sue Reaves Herrera of Sheridan; step-mother, Dee Ann Harper Smith of Sheridan; brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Rebecca Smith and his niece and nephew, Erin and Hollis Smith, all of Sheridan; step-brothers, Jayson Heffner of Malvern, Garrett Smith of Sheridan; step-sisters, Joy Thomas of Asia, Jill Buie of Prattsville, Keagan Womble of Bryant. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt and numerous cousins.

A private family service will be held.
