Brandunn Glynn Ricky McLean

Brandunn Glynn Ritchie McLean of Carlton, Texas was born November 26, 1980, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Brandunn was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School class of 1999, while in high school he worked as a checker for Brookshires then later in life he also worked as a manager for Pier One Imports and as a mobile mechanic for many years. Brandunn has lived in many states all across the country but most notably he lived in Solana Beach, California and Carlton, Texas. While living in Solana Beach he married his partner and best friend Caleb McLean on February 15, 2014, until his passing in 2020. After Caleb’s passing, Brandunn moved to Carlton until his passing on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the age of 45 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Brandunn was a kindhearted and generous soul, who lived and loved to his fullest, he leaves a lasting legacy with those he loved and will be dearly missed.

Brandunn is preceded in death by his husband Caleb McLean, his stepfather James Garland Bailey, his grandparents C.A. and Betty Ritchie, and his great grandparents W.W. and Hilger Dunn Bartmess.

He is survived by his mother Jan Ritchie Lemons of White Hall, AR, his brother Blake (Amanda) Bailey of Sheridan, AR, niece Abby (Austin) Bailey Saunders of New Edenburg, AR, nephews Conner (Emily) Watkins of Mary Esther, FL, Tanner Bailey and Parker Glynn Bailey both of Sheridan, AR, great niece Sadie Kate Saunders, and of course his great dane fur baby Chiqi (Cheeky) LaRue, along with many extended family members and many friends.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to his close friends Richard Sablahtura and Norman Claybaugh who took such great care of Brandunn as well as his good friend Chris Aupperle.

A private service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
