Brenda Sue Heird Hawkins of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 26, 1959 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Joe and Joann Ramsey Heird.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing with her dog, going to yard sales, and making crafts. She was a member of Herring Hunting Club.

Brenda died Friday, October 21, 2022 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 63.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Heird and Bobby Heird.

Survivors: husband, best friend, caregiver of 41 years, Chester Hawkins; daughter, Vanessa Hawkins both of Sheridan; sister, Charlotte Johnson (Robert) of Sulphur Springs and her dog Harley.

Graveside service will be 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at New Hope Cemetery with visitation prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Hollingshead, Bobbie Taylor, Tony Puckett, Bobby Thomas, Herbie Waymack, Leon Barron, Brady Buchanan, and Danny Herndon.
